I said: “My instructors are in AP classes and they are here a lot more than your daughter.” The mother looked at me with astonishment. “Oh, and several doctors and therapist in the area send us kids because they need help with academics. The lessons we teach here apply to school. Dummies don’t do martial arts!”

As a martial arts dad I was so excited 🤩my two young boys (7 and 6) had a chance to work with the world 🥇champion. They had so much fun! But there were 😭 many tears as well because they both wanted to be like him, but couldn't do the tricks and spins right away.

Summer has come to an end, and whether we like it or not, it's back to school time. It can be challenging for everyone to adjusts to new schedules, bedtimes, and transitions in the school system.

Spicar’s Martial Arts held a fundraiser, earning $810, for the Carroll Elementary School’s PTA in Southlake, Texas on December 1, 2018.

We decided to donate our facility and time and have these awesome kids come in to have a blast while playing games, do karate and become super ninjas.
