Martial arts training leads to a number of benefits for children, including a boost in confidence and self-esteem and teaches kids to take non-violent approaches to confronting bullies.

I said: “My instructors are in AP classes and they are here a lot more than your daughter.” The mother looked at me with astonishment. “Oh, and several doctors and therapist in the area send us kids because they need help with academics. The lessons we teach here apply to school. Dummies don’t do martial arts!”

As a martial arts dad I was so excited 🤩my two young boys (7 and 6) had a chance to work with the world 🥇champion. They had so much fun! But there were 😭 many tears as well because they both wanted to be like him, but couldn't do the tricks and spins right away.

Summer has come to an end, and whether we like it or not, it's back to school time. It can be challenging for everyone to adjusts to new schedules, bedtimes, and transitions in the school system.

Almost 50 ladies and moms with daughters from Southlake and surrounding communities participated in our free self-defense seminar that focused on empowering them with safety tips and simple and effective striking techniques.

Many of our Instructors and students participated in the viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenges to raise awareness about the Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Miss Sarah Chiang, our 3rd Degree Decided Black Belt and a Level 1 Instructor, was taking summer courses at the Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Miss Talia Flores recently earned her 1st Degree Senior Black Belt. Miss Flores started training with us, here in Southlake, on February 19, 2010. Currently enrolled in our Teen martial arts program, she is on her way to become a certified Level 1 Instructor by the end of summer.
